Thanks and appreciation go out to Angela Stockwell, Margaret Chase Smith Library, Collection Specialist/Librarian, pictured here. Angie granted me a generous amount of time when I conducted my site visit. Besides answering my questions, she gave me a house tour of the Senator's residence and shared resources that were helpful and informative.

Angie's dedication to the MCS Library collection is evident. Her pride shines through. My thanks as well to the other members of the MCS Library staff who are also dedicated to the library's mission. 

Several years ago I was active with a Business and Professional Women's Club - an organization that Margaret Chase Smith was involved with. This is where I became familiar with her accomplishments. It was a pleasure to revisit this unforgettable figure and to meet another one in the process. Thanks, Angie.
